7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

At Transcribly, we stand behind the quality of our transcription service. We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for all paid subscriptions (Monthly and Yearly plans). If you're not completely satisfied with our service, you can request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase.

Eligibility for Refunds

To be eligible for a refund, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Request must be made within 7 days of the original purchase date
  • This applies only to your first purchase of a paid plan
  • The refund policy applies to subscription fees only, not to additional minutes purchased
  • Account must not have been flagged for abuse or violation of our Terms of Service

Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Free plan usage (as no payment was made)
  • Subscription renewals after the first billing cycle
  • Partial month refunds (we do not offer prorated refunds for unused time)
  • Minutes that have already been used for transcription
  • Additional minute packages purchased separately
  • Refund requests made after the 7-day period

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Transcribly account
  2. Navigate to your Billing settings
  3. Click on "Request Refund" or contact our support team at support@transcribly.com
  4. Provide your account email, transaction ID, and reason for the refund request
  5. Our team will review your request within 2-3 business days

Refund Processing Time

Once your refund request is approved:

  • We will process the refund within 5-7 business days
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase
  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the funds to appear in your account
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed

Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Please note:

  • Cancellation does not automatically result in a refund
  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
  • You will retain access to your paid features until the subscription expires
  • No refund will be provided for the remaining time in your billing cycle

Special Circumstances

We understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. If you believe you have a valid reason for a refund outside of our standard policy, please contact us at support@transcribly.com. We will review your case on an individual basis and may offer alternative solutions such as:

  • Account credit for future use
  • Plan downgrade or modification
  • Extended trial period
  • Technical support to resolve issues

Fair Use Policy

We reserve the right to deny refund requests if we detect:

  • Excessive or abusive use of the service before requesting a refund
  • Multiple refund requests across different accounts
  • Fraudulent activity or violation of our Terms of Service
  • Evidence that the service was functioning properly and the refund request is made in bad faith

Changes to Refund Policy

Transcribly reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of the service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new refund policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
